Years ago I had the idea of asking photographers from different urban areas to send me back pictures of the graffiti they would discover on-site. G.B. Stephens covered Oaxaca, Mexico. As he was digging deeper and deeper into the town´s outskirts he fell in love with the many exceptional pieces he found on walls and roads. He began photographing graffiti extensively and his collection started growing fast. I am happy and proud G.B. is now presenting his first US exhibition of his photographs at the Centre Gallery of the University of South Florida. The subtitle of the exhibit reads as: "The Documentation of Graffiti Art as Historic Record of Culture and Politics". Exhibition Dates: September 7th to 17th. Reception on September 10th from 7 to 9PM.
